In addition to its much successful Galaxy S family, Samsung has released a new mobile phone called the Samsung Galaxy S Plus. According to reports, the handset became available in Russia just last April. In comparison to the original Galaxy S, this latest embodiment of the Galaxy S phone as the name implies has a few advantages. To start with, the Samsung Galaxy S Plus has a bigger battery(1650mAh), Android 2.3 plus TouchWiz 3.0, and a single –core 1.4GHz processor. More so, the Samsung Galaxy S Plus will no longer have the glossy plastic back cover which is a trademark of the previous gadgets from the Korean company. To give a more premium feel, and more weight definitely, the back cover of this phone will be made of metal.

The Samsung Galaxy S Plus costs $842 or 23,990 rubles. Additional specifications include 4 inch super AMOLED screen, 8 GB on-board memory, and the 1.4 GHz processor is a big ‘plus’ so to speak because it means better gaming experience and will allow HD video playback. As the Samsung Galaxy generation carries on, this latest addition will be the link between Samsung Galaxy S II and Samsung Galaxy Ace.
