To those people who have been itching to get a hold of Apple’s newest consumer gadget, iPad, mark your calendars because Apple announced that the iPad table PC will be on sale outside the United States on the 28th of May.
Apple’s iPad will be hitting the market in nine countries namely, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. The cheapest iPad model will be sold for $499. You do the conversion.
According to Apple, they have already sold almost a million iPads in the United States since its release in the American market last 3rd of April.
Pre-ordering of the iPad tablet will start on the 10th of May. Nokia filed a lawsuit against Apple on the same day of when iPad’s global release was announced.
